Does anyone know of a reliable person for purchasing and servicing satellite receivers in the Sosua/ Cabarete area? I would appreciate a referral. Thanks.

Nfusion Solaris and Phoenix receivers are popular as they have an inbuilt ethernet port.

I for one prefer Captiveworks boxes; their EPG and a more significant channel list are convincing features. Downside is, that they need a dongle (+ approx. 60$) to connect to the internet...

Ilink is one of the best receivers you can have and they permit recording in .ts (transportstram) format which after conversion can be played on external media players/computers.
