Nice residential tower going up in La Esmeralda, Santiago!
JD, I go to the balcony to sun dry the clothes. Sometimes when a friend comes over we take the chairs out and sip a drink on a fresh air. Why would I want to hang around the balcony during the day?
Maybe a lot of people are like me and don't really like heights that much. My sister lives in one of those high rises in Santo Domingo (top floor) very nice views of The Caribbean, etc...but it gives me the willies to sit on her balcony separated from an 8 story fall to the ground by some panes of glass.
There's also another one going up some blocks away from this one there called Tower Mary Luz:
