The PRD has a history of conflict. The party can't manage itself, how could anyone think they could manage the country?

Things are getting ugly. Very ugly. Can the party survive this strife?

Maybe a whole group of fresh faces will take over.

Yup! That's a gun on each hand... Makes you wonder which PRD gov post he was aiming to get if Hippo won?

Yup! That's a security officer assigned to the TSE parking with only a radio on his waistband trying to defuse two PRD members from you know what!

"Comando" Metropolitano???? Makes you think what are they, a political party or a paramilitary group?

These are the folks some wanted in Gov along the other PRD supporters here!

Dios!

Lets hope, come the time of the next election, these photos will re-emerge and you can remind the - (I want to call them 'loyal' or 'faithful' but thats the complete wrong word) PRD supporters what their party is really all about. Paramilitary is a very good call.
I was very suprised the PLD made little or no reference to the Financial Crisis during Hippo's last term in office.
Many people have very short memories.

That was all they talked about!!

But the point is that Miguel Vargas Maldonado will go down in history as "the Biggest Loser" for effectively destroying the PRD. His "little spoiled boy" attitude after the convention kept the party from dethroning the PLD, that was so obvious that even the most rabid PLD people were looking for hidy-holes for after the elections.

Some people are saying that because MVM owed the Reserve Bank something like RD$600 million for different construction projects, he was pressured by the PLD to stay out of the campaign...quite possible true, since it was the absence of his forces that spelled the difference. only 193,000 votes....

Oh well, get used to the PLD....no matter how much they suck! It's your money and mine that is going down the drain!!.

And referring to that thread about the DR being First World by 2025??? Yeah, if we have a violent revolution and turn the place inside out, maybe, maybe, maybe....
