Colorado to punta cana????

I thought I saw a post a week or so ago about a new carrier from Colorado to Punta Cana.

Now I can't find it.

A relative needs the info, could whoever posted it please repost the info here?????

Check out Frontier Airlines. It is only on Saturday's until August 4.

The rest of the story.

It was a coincidence that last Sat pm the missis and PJT had departed PUJ after dropping off a friend. We were on the road passing the far end of the airport by the Ilumel store when a Frontier aircraft passed directly overhead on its landing approach to the airport. Thought it odd at the moment because have not seen the carrier there before. It is the reason PJT knew right away Frontier was the carrier in question.

I finally found the Frontier link, wow, expensive. One way from Denver to Punta Cana is just under $700. The same flight - not direct - on Spirit is about $250. Big difference, and explains why Spirit is making money. Even with the luggage and seat charges, Spirit is half the price. Of course, to many it may be worth the extra money just to fly direct..

@AlterEgo - depends on when you want to fly. Direct flight is on Saturdays, there are 2 more days in a week when they fly via Pittsburgh. I checked for July 7, 14, 21, 28 / 2012 and the fare is US$388 with taxes included, one way. Direct flight. the ones that go via PA have higher price.
