When I see the owners I will ask them. Meantime, my guess is that one use of the huge new section is to spread out the shelves and make the aisles more navigable.

A worker in Playero told me that they are putting a bank branch inside, adding more cashiers and a greater variety of stock. I think he also said they will put in a place where you can eat.

They have taken the soaps and paper products, moving them to the new section.

I was told the total transition is to be over the course of 2 months.
