Where can i buy knotting solution for wood around sosua?

I need to to seal the knots before I prime the wood.I don't want the knots to show through when I paint it.Can anyone advise me where I can buy a knotting solution please?

If you can get KILZ paint, it works well for sealing knots. A small can will go a long way.

I've also used a skim coat of thinned drywall compound to level and seal wood.

Thanks for that.In the UK we have an actual product called Knotting Solution.Is this product available do you know in the DR?
I will suggest KLZ too.

I've never heard of "knotting solution" in the U.S. Kilz works pretty well, but I've had bleed-through after a period of time when using a light colored top coat. Several coats of Kilz might stop that. My father (a carpenter and cabinet maker), taught me to use shellac to cover knots prior to painting. That's definitely "old school", and there might be other products now... maybe polyurethane would be a good choice???

Do you know where we can buy Kilz around the Sosua or Puerto Plata area? I'm paying someone to do the work,so need to send him to the right place.
if not,how about Shellac?
