My DR vacation being delayed. Anyone else in same boat. Suppossed to fly <ia,i to POp tommorrow on AA now cancelled. Any helpful suggestions as have been on hold almost two hours waiting to talk to airline rep.

Miami Flights Cancelled to Puerto Plata
Yes that is correct from the Miami end. Flights into and out of and through Miami have been cancelled for Sunday. We will lose two days of our vacation as can not be rebooked until Tuesday.
Flights from SDQ to MIA were also cancelled. Bummer. Now I have to go sit on the beach even longer! (oh, wait, that's a good thing!)
My flight with Air Berlin DUS POP was delayed for 26 hours, but it was ok, I've spent one more night in beautiful Dusseldorf. Passengers were given hotel in DUS airport.
