I don't know, when the first $200 bills came out, some people confused them with the $50 bills. By now, I think we all got used to them and don't confuse them anymore. Is this the real reason? If so, it's kind of late...

The other day, I was given 5 of them instead of one 1,000 bill........ they're out there

They will soon be printing ANOTHER version as this new, new, new 200 peso bill has a GLARING ERROR! It would almost be funny, if it wasn't so tragic. It sort of epitomizes this government.

My wife will call the President of the Dominican Printers Association to find out who and where the Dominican Paso is printed. And IF printed outside of the D.R. then perhaps the why question, thou we already know that answer.

Anyone looking for the "Printed in China" yet? Just a guess with no proof.
