I'm travelling to DR from London. I wish to use my portable PC in DR and I wondering what type of telephone sockets they have? (i.e. Are they the same as the US?) Also are the power sockets 110v and the same shape plug as the US?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Same as the US for both...and it's 110v
