Irish, living in Spain, looking for a Place in the Sun to retire to from Jan 2014 on (and to get away from the Doom & Gloom, not to mention Taxes, of Europe).... am checking out DR and Panama (and Brazil if there is time) next month for first impressions.
This is a really great forum (with some feisty members indeed) and I have to admit the knowledge I have gained from reading here in the last few days has certainly given me a lot to think about, not all positive.
