Probably in the middle of the sea, and very, very long. I would never fly in a Tupolev.

Ok, now . I think you can say good things about the Tupolev without making comparisons, specially to one of the most popular and safest aircrafts ever built.
Tupolev 134 built: 850
Boeing 737 built: 7,200.
...so mucht for safety stats. By the way, the T134 is a good aircraft, no doubt about it. But its natural competitor would be a Boeing 727 or a DC-9, not a 737. But at 200 bucks, it's about half regular price, so I would take it if I needed to go to Spain on a budget.

I think you missed the point made by Castle. Without factoring in hours flown those numbers are meaningless.
