What's the back story of why Scotia bank closed in Sosua? With so many Canadians in Sosua retired & as tourists it came as a surprise.

Decision came from head office in Canada. They didn't need 2 branches so close together and the Cabarete branch is better designed.

damn...that is a place I never had a problem using the ATM and getting $$...and there was always a guard there!

So much for using that bank. Santa Cruz is then Bank of my choice.
