Santo Domingo Invita dedicated a segment (in Spanish) to a new book that describes in words and photographs, the beauty and diversity of golf courses in the Dominican Republic. In recent years the Dominican Republic has become the golfing capital of the Caribbean, with more golf courses than anywhere else in the Antilles and Central America. Among the impressive list of outstanding courses are the world famous Teeth of the Dog (this course is legendary enough that Microsoft decided to include it in their golf simulator for the PC) and Punta Espada which has been featured as part of the PGA Tours, both ranking among the top 50 courses in the world.
