Airfare this Christmas holiday
The prices usually increase around the 12th of December.
Flying by the 11th will usually get you a lower price going down.

By fkying Wed Dec 12th my price was about 1/2 of the next flight down - on the Saturday

Another trick I have learned w/ daughter's filghts from Australia is to fly on Jan 1
By booking her return on Jan 1 , I have saved as much as $800 by not using Jan2 or Dec31
I have been checking for someone in Louisiana. Same thing! Crazy pricing for such a short distance!
If you haven't already try KAYAK - Cheap Flights, Hotels, Airline Tickets, Cheap Tickets, Cheap Travel Deals - Compare Hundreds of Travel Sites At Once to compare a variety of options at once. Or try, if an option the next closest city? Dallas to fly out of? Maybe even some convoluted trip like.. Fly to NYC to fly to Miami. I once flew from Chicago to Atlanta to get a trip to NYC for 2/3 of the price.... Good luck!

i hate spirit. employees are ok. they will abandon youSide questoion here. What happened toSpirit Air? They don't seem to have STI on their price chart at the present time. Have they withdrawn form this market?
