Cabarete and Las Terrenas

A Dutch friend of mine and her boyfriend want to visit the DR at the end of March. She has been already to Punta Cana and Bavaro so I suggested to try the North coast, Cabarete and Las Terrenas.
Plse some suggestions for A/I in both areas.

Why an AI? There are some really fantastic places to stay in LT. The Alisei comes very quickly to mind. They have a nice pool, a stones throw to the beach, and equipt with kitchen facility. LT is a very nice town with a French and Italian flavor. I love it, and I'd imagine your Dutch friends would too.

In Cabarete, I like Viva Wyndham Tangerine. I have stayed there several times, and the employees are wonderful.
