need a delicious birthday cake for sunday afternoon.
any recommendations where to buy in Puerto Plata area or Sosua.
kind of black forest cake or chocolate cake with mouse au chocolate
would be great but also other good tasty nice looking cake would
be super!

The best cakes are at Cafe Cubano on Pedro Clisante in Sosua. You need to pre-order though. The chocolate cake is the best I've ever had.

i loved the chocolate cake at cafe cubano but since the new owner it isn't as good as before....
if they would prepare it the same taste like before i would not hesitate and order one, but....

In Sosua , Moser's Bakery has an excellent Black Forest cake as well as other German style layer cakes and specialities.

the only good black forest cake can be bought in POP, in mariposa, central park. it will be quite expensive but it is well worth it.
