Is anyone going to the Anthony Santos concert this Saturday at the Hard Rock? I'm going SOLO, but my experience at Dominican concerts is that EVERYONE goes with a couple. Hoping to meet someone, so that its not too awkward :ermm:

The admission price is $50 US. The club opens about 11 PM, but don't expect Anthony Santo on stage before 2AM or 2:30AM. If you want to come it will be a sell out, so get there about midnight or before.

I promise you will love this club if you have never seen it. And look out for "The Midget."

Please be aware that Hard Rock Hotel and Hard Rock Cafe are at different locations!

I don't know where the show will be at, though

That's been my experience with the big names too. Santos is great live and the bigger the venue, the better.

Please let us know when he starts and finishes. 2:30 AM sounds about right for a starting time.
I am guessing he is done by about 3:30 AM, 4:00 AM at the latest.

Going by when we had Daddy Yankee in Oro. He started about 230AM and went straight to a little after 4AM. And the show is not at the Hard Rock Cafe, but in the Nightclub Oro. Located in the Hard Rock Hotel Casino. If anyone needs directions I can give it to them from wherever they are coming from.

I had NO idea that the Hard Rock Cafe was different from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. My friend was like "don't you think you should be getting ready and leaving soon?'' I say, ''Uhhh no! The guaguas stop running from here around 8:30, no big deal!'' She says ''To get there, you're going to have to make like 5 transfers'' I say ''ASHLEY! It's right in Bavaro!'' She busts out laughing, starts turning red and says ''Omg, it's near Macao silly!'' I had no freaking idea it was that far away...so there goes my solo-concert adventure. It's too far from me to risk it alone, at that time, on the buses :-(

there's no WAY they could hold a major concert in the Hard Rock Cafe. It's just a lame restaurant that charges $20 U.S. for a burger and the honor of looking at a bunch of crappy memorabilia. No way is there enough space for a big gig.
