Help : contract law

Hi, i created a thread yesterday but it seem to have disapear..so

i want to know how it works if i want to break a contract/leave a house?

As some of you might already know.. I am having some problem with my ex dominicana, when we broked up she tryed to take everything I had here, she ended up with nothing and now I am scared she will come back for more, so yes i feel scared for my life right now.

i basicly signed a 1yr contract 2-3wks ago, paid 4months+2deposits.

i know I will lose money at the end, and probably a lot but anyone know if its possible to recuperate something?

If the owner tells me you lose the next 3 months + 2 deposit if you leave should I argue with him or hes just basicly in the right to take everything... Can he make me stay/pay for the whole contract?

am i better to go to talk with a lawyer directly? If yes, any recomandation would be appreciated

lol, I didn't screw anybody, she left after one week and she wasn't entitled to that.

Not yet, we are talking tonight, only have talked with my agent yet and other then telling me.. yeah you are not safe, he didn't really help solve anything.
