Anyone know of golf courses in the area that offer local residents discounted golf rates. Paying $150 a round is a bit harsh on the wallet.

Barcelo used to along with Iberostar if I'm not mistaken. However, this is high season so don't expect to get significant discounts.

The best deal we have found is at the Iberostar course in Punta Cana-if you have a cedula. $50US for green fees and cart and you get sodas and sandwiches on the course and a free lunch at the clubhouse! any time of day and the course is in good shape!

The Club Car distributor is Caribbean Turf. They're located on the old road from Veron towards Coco Loco, a bit before CEPM on the left.
