First of all,how do you say tune up in spanish,secondly,where to get one for a ford explorer,dealerships,tree shade mechanics(I'm an equal opportunity employer:classic:) preferably near Bella Vista.Thanks all.

Best to take it to "Via Mar" the REAL Ford dealer.
They will charge you more, but when you still need a tune-up after they finish, you will know where to find them!
It just a big game of "Hit-Or-Miss".

What year Explorer?
Some models have a very difficult angle to reach the spark plugs (you have to remove some parts to reach them), and mechanics usually will charge you a little extra.

2007 Eddie bauer

Spark plug wires = $1500
Spark Plugs = $100-150 each
Oil, oil filter, air filter = $2000

labor = $2000

Those are of course approximate prices I got from a friend who just did all that for his 2005 XLT

Depending on the mileage, you could also think about changing the timing belt and fuel filters.
