Good news. Hopefully this is a legitimate crack down and not just done to get money from the Germans.

Vamos a ver.

Doesn't sound like this was because prostitutes were allowed in the bar. More than that seems to be involved. Prostitution apparently a business venture of the Germans

Heard it was CMP because of 2 underage. (Probably 17 with more experence than a 25). They are really working hard to clean up Sosua. Last week they arrested a poor old Haitian lady because she was selling fruit on the streets. Today 5 politur arrested an ice cream vendor. Ken must be really proud of Sosua's finest. ;) (Just pulling your leg)

ken, just to clarify, when i said "involvement in prostitution" i meant more soliciting and running a brothel than merely allowing hos on the premises. i was surprised that such thing happened. precisely because prostitution is legal here and i do not think big actions like this happen often.

and yeah, that 17 year old gal was probably mounted more often than a mama rabbit. i know this is below legal age of 18 but to me a minor is now someone below 15. the age of sexual initiation is low nowadays that 17 year does not sound like a child...

In 2008 Canada raised its age of consent from 16 to 18.

Likewise with some states in the US and Bermuda. Cayman Islands has yet to catch up.

And Germans encroaching on local turf.

I hope that jehova gang is going back to where they belong. Sosua shall be like Amsterdam or Bankok, free sex with no limits. This shall bring more tourists and less frustraded person. Of corses check thoses chicks for deasease once a week !!

The only reason for the raid was a 17 year old working there? If the owner of CMP is smart he would try to find birth records of this girl. Half the girls i have met have 2 birthdays. The real one and the one 6 months later when the family finally registered the birth and that date is on the cedula. Probably splitting hairs since it is all about the pesos and not reality.

actually, Jumbo, they have three birthdays. the two you mentioned, plus the one which occurs the day after she meets a gringo for the first time. you know; "manana es mi cumpleanos"

she has any number of those each year.
