If you want an exam, think your eyes have changed, etc. then I cannot offer any help, sorry.

But often USA docs will just write you another Rx, if you explain you are living out of the country.. "expired" means over one year in some USA states, but 2 years in others, so not even a questionable practice.

And you don't need an Rx in the DR, do you? But limited selection.

we go to dr bernard rodriguez in clinica union. he is actually an oftalmologo. he does a proper, extensive eye exam.
suite 501 and 502, 5th floor, 809 226 8686 (extension 4501 and 4502).
500 pesos with insurance (he only accepts few ARS). take sunglasses, he does one test with atropine in the eye and you need to protect the iris afterwards. also take the thingy for storage of your contacts. he has the liquid but not the box.
