I know that Chiri explained this to me once but I cannot find the thread. And I have searched the web and have been clicking the multiquote button, selecting text, hitting reply.. nothing

clicking multiquote, selecting text, hitiing quote.. get entire post quoted

select quote, hit multiquote, secting reply , nothing

ok.. round and round..

obviously i am not doing something right. or am doing something wrong.

this must come under that part of my brain that is in clerical and filing.. in which, I took a test and found that I am as good as or better than 2% of the populaton

thanks in advance for any step by step idiots guide to multi quoting

I find it annoying when people responding to a post find it necessary to re-post that "Quote".

it's ok when someone quote a small portion of the post to address some particular issue or make a joke but i despise quoting looooong post just to write: i agree or well said.

And it annoys the hell out of me when a person asks a simple question and people feel it necessary to jump in with smart ass
comments.......
I came before the people with a question not too long ago and was roundly mocked and sent to hell (figuratively speaking of course) in a handbasket...
If I knew the answer to your question mountainannie, I would be happy to answer it. I read your post and was thrilled as I was looking forward to the answer myself...
When did it become unfashionable to search for knowledge?

Okay Annie, one more time :p

Click on the "+ at the bottom right of all the posts you want to quote

Then click +Reply to Thread.

If you want to remove parts of the posts, just highlight and delete, just be sure not to touch the parts in [ ]

Try it and let me know if it works for you

Oops, did not work. I hit the multi quote button for CCCCCCCCCCCCC and Tamborista.

well it was in the technical help forum so I thought it was in the right place. I am trying to streamline the quoting that I do.

Give it a try mountainannie. I followed what alter wrote and it worked and easy as can be. Hardest part was realizing the +Reply to Thread is found at the end of the thread.
