Cheap hotels, clean and affordable (no cabanas touristicas pls)

Hi guys,

I am trying to compile a list of affordable clean hotels around and inside santo domingo metro area. Should be clean, good reputation, and affordable. I am not looking for cabanas touristicas or stuff like that. Just something you can recommend to fellow travelers. Any ideas?
