For what I see; Danilo is doing a good job, even some of my friends who are mindset as "PLD corrupted political party" are talking good things about Danilo.

I am far from DR but happy things are working the right way over there!

I was rather sceptical about Danilo being president of the DR, however I am now rather impressed with his efforts. I wish that he would also put effort into getting rid of the corrupt leaches that are the politicos that just keep dragging the country more and more. I also really do hope that some day the country can get things together and become a powerhouse in the Caribbean and Latin America but I won't hold my breath to see that during my lifetime.

My impression is he is much too good a man to be president. They may very well find a way to shove him aside in the next election.

Excellent...He's definitely gaining people's respect for going out there and being with the common folk.

Honestly this is exactly what this country needs, more accountability. The DR political system has suffered immensely because of poor examples, so an event like this is welcomed.

Can he run? I was thinking the Constitution prohibited it.

He is better than I thought he was going to be but my opinion of the standard a Latin American president should be is Rafael Correa.
