Tambo , I am surprised you didn't know about this!

It is interesting in that there was an extra amount in the safe for a vehicle purchase so to my mind it must have had inside help. Reports say it was a Dominican with a gun that waited until the football game had finished when everybody went !

and then robbed at gun point !

This place is still open? It was the first place I ever stayed in Sosua, July 1986. Wow so many memories. It's amazing that it is still there. LaRoca was the place to be in the evening, fresh bread being baked across the street...
