I will be traveling to DR in a few weeks. And since I'm traveling alone (even though I have a few old friends and family there), I was looking for things to do.
The last time I was in Santo Domingo was a few years ago, and I only went for an emergency, so I was there for 3 days. The time before that, I didn't really plan anything. So I pretty much stayed in my aunts house until she had free time to go out.
I lived in Santo Domingo many many many years ago. I went to school until the 8th grade. I had an over
protective family and I was restrained from doing things that kids usually do. Anyway, I can't wait to go back and be a "tourist."
I will be posting some threads and asking questions about some places to visit. Please feel free to add to any suggestions or places to see, eat (I'm a foodie). I definitely want to go to the beach everyday, and come back to my city tanned.
I just hope i don't get rained in, because I think I will cry! Not really cry, but I will be sad.
