This report is Sosua News today is very welcome. This is the sidewalk that passes by the school and baseball field opposite Casa Marina. I walk that way often and the sidewalk is in terrible shape. This is a renovation long overdue.
After much protest of taxi drivers and students Mayor Ilana Neumann ordered to renew the sidewalk opposite the entrance to Casa Marina Resort. The pavement was, because of the holes and obstacles (loose cables) a source of complaints for many years of the drivers, students and passersby. Friday morning, the work started by employees of Public Works. The work started drastically because the entire sidewalk is now removed. There will be constructed a smooth concrete floor with curbs and good drainage.
Soon the students and families can go for a safe and comfortable walk.
