where does the pope live?
He does not live where former popes lived, in the palace. He lives in a small apartment, once used for second-string visitors, or so the news said yesterday.
He seems to have a great intuitive sense of what being a pope in this age is all about. He seems to be the last royalist pope. He does not even wear the red shoes.
I have always wondered who though up that tradition. I can't imagine St. Peter fishing in red Guccis.
