Hello All.
i am planning a long vacation stay for 6 months.
i was wondering if anyone has a link for the price chart of the prices for different months that you prolong your stay after the turista 10$ card has expired.
thank you

i read that you can kind of lower your price by negociating with the teller. but i would like to know the prices before going, thank you

Just pay the RD $1000 overstay fee, instead of fueling corruption.

There is no negociating. You go through immigration with your passport and depending how long you have overstayed that is what you pay. You are instructed to go to a different kiosk and pay the fine than bring the reciept back before being allowed to the gate to catch your flight.

In the past I just put a 1,000 peso note in my passport, when I had a long "Overstay" in the DR.
The agent would ALWAYS say,..."What's this for?"
I said I preferred to pay my "Fine" directly to them, and not to "El Maldito Gobierno"!!!!
It always worked for me.
Except last year.
We'll see what happens this year, I have about a 1 and 1/2 year overstay.
I TOO find the "Don't Contribute To The Corruption" a bit of a JOKE!!!!!
I "Won't",...When "THEY",(Meaning Every Man,Woman, and Child) Won't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as I'm concerned, or better put,.."NOT Concerned",I just love the whole idea of screwing the DR government whenever, and however I CAN!
It's not like I'm taking food out of the average Dominican families mouth!
More like taking the "Keys" out of a "Politicos",."Yepeta"!!!!
