Why don't you hire a tour guide and tour all the areas of the capital your interested in. I'm sure the driver will tell you about each area.

the gold's gym in independencia is not in such a good area. if you just want to go to the gym then no problem but I would not recommend getting an apartment near by. the gold's gym in paseo de locutores is much better location.
