John.. Roberto Paulino's website is impressive.. I had to fiddle with it a bit but I was able to get a good array of listings of apartments in Gazcue for rent One thing that I liked about his site is that he gives a map which most sites do not. They will just say the sector .. And the secrors are pretty large. So that is a good thing. But there is no section even for the Zona.. So if I had a listing there I would not go to him. You might want to call him and tell him this as there are a few listings on the ReMax site.
I was just walking around the Zona with a friend who is there and is moving and saw three apartments in the $800 range. Two of them were being shown by one realtor, who did not have a webpage and did not speak any language except Spanish. One was furnished with artys broken down left overs.. and other.. well, as soon as my friend wanted to take it, she said that the owner wanted to sell instead.
The problem.. here I go again.. is that there do not seem to be any Specialists in any AREAS... any one agent will have listings all over the place. Of course, there are no exclusive listings so the system is very different from in the States.
If your property, littleones, is a high end rental, ie will rent for more than $1200 US, I would suggest that you might try these guys.. only because they have great webpage.. (I do not know them but it comes up first on the search engine of "moving to Santo Domingo
