I am no Pollyanna, but I have to point out that last year, when the funding for the purchase of growth hormone for the young girl in Puerto Plata was still not solid, I wrote to various diputados and senators. We did receive some donations, more than twenty thousand pesos (indicated on the spreadsheet as anonymous) to help with obtaining the medication.

Good to hear that some are using the funds for their intended purpose, and without expecting anything in return.
