Check with the Cruise Line on this. Sometimes the Cruise Line gets a waiver to go ashore for it's Dominican Passengers.

Another update, for Turkey Dominicans has to apply for e-visa online now. Click on who is elegible for e-visa you will see that its shown Dominican Republic.

https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/info/

For Cuba also you have to go to the Consular office in Santo Domingo, buy a travel medical insurnace and pay a feed at the consulate to get the permit to enter to Cuba.

I expect the novia will not be going on that cruise. A British visa is different than a Schengen Visa is different than a US Visitor's visa, etc.

If you find out differently, please let me know. Dominicans used to be able to go on cruises until a number jumped shipped some years ago and that privilege got stamped out quickly and I don't think it ever returned.

My experience with cruise lines is that they told me it is up to the passenger to make sure they have all of the necessary documents ahead of time or you will have paid but not be allowed to board. I got fed up and gave up after calling a couple of the various different islands so-called tourism offices.
