Well, unfortunately our friend tranquilo set us up with bad data. Everyone knows it's nueva yol. No self respecting dominican is going to go to all that trouble of blending two consonants. And it's even more work ending a word in k! That is impossible to pronounce.

Of course, even he is spelling his name incorrectly. It is trankilo.
