In the case of a POTUS whose wife has a paid staff and official duties, I'd say she's part of the package and is fair game.

We have lots of ugly men who hold public office and have proven competent. I fail to see why Palin not being ugly makes her a better candidate for anything. She is hopelessly ignorant and says really stupid things on a regular basis. That is why she does not run: the guys with the money will not support her.
I am not a Republican but you must admit .When she makes a mistake she owns it......Unlike others.
