3. No stateless people in the country
Minister of Foreign Relations Andres Navarro has responded emphatically to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), saying that there are no stateless people in this country as the international agency is claiming. He went on to say that the government has explained on many occasions that the Constitution and Dominican law do not allow this. He said that UNHCR is referring to Haitians, but this is not possible either due to clauses in the Haitian Constitution.

He said that UNHCR should not ask the country to eradicate statelessness in the country when there is none to eradicate.

He highlighted the actions the Dominican government has taken to uphold and respect human rights.

No, no play on words. He said, since by law it's not possible to be stateless in DR, there are no stateless people. The Haitians claiming they are stateless (or better said, the Haitians of which the pitiness-industry claims are stateless) are not. They are Haitians.

dominicans do not have the material resources, neither the cultural organizational skills to make viable a reasonable absorption of the haitain population. And won't even say anything about their "willingness" to implement forcibly such a crazy policy. the foreign agencies thinking otherwise are deluding themslves at best, at worst , they are pushing and preparing the ground for a social war. Maybe the latter is the real hidden objective, (my tin foil hat sounds off). I think some agencies just don't want any more negros coasting to their shores. What do you think? nobody wants blacks in their turf. Not europeans brethrens anyway.
