Over the next few days we will be switching to a new server.

Reason: Updating the old SATA drives to much faster SSD drives.

Downtime: We are not anticipating any, but you never know with nerds and servers :)

haha,
thats a leftover joke from an other topic with a photo of a back in the day apple computer, stating that you bought it, lol.
you know we are all patient with what ever may happen during update processes, as it is finally done for our all own convenience. i have myself zero clue about server types or such.

Hmm, SATA is old... I am still running my computers on IDE drives!

We are having a few issues, as you might be able to see in the header. Working on it.

I get as far as CloudFlare error # 522 page when trying to access DR1. Using a VPN and saying I'm in Canada, works no problem. Not sure why my plane Jane connection attempt is being halted at CloudFlare.

After flushing my DNS cache, I can now get to the main DR1 homepage, select forums and enter my login ID before consistently getting a CloudFlare 522 error. Reengaging the VPN solves the problem.

Not sure why you should have this issue. Maybe the way your local ISP is handling caching?

I've tried everything I can think of. Chrome & IE both fail with a 522 error from cloudflare. From here to Miami seems to work fine.

I give up. It worked yesterday and it doesn't work today. Nothing has changed on my end except for the date.
