Very few posts historically about this town which is set in lovely part of this lovely country. Somewhat surprised because with the mining close by at Barrick, Falcando and Maimon....there are gringos in the area.
Lived nearby for several years and miss those days away from the area, I do miss the ambience.........the lazy days by the 'rios' ....and at this time of year the Bonao carnival which is more intimate and fun than La Vega.
