A woman dominican lawyer of 30yrs + and mother of 3 kids was brutally killed about a week ago in santiago
she was online dating with a spanish/usa citizen and he paid for a taxi to bring her up to santiago to meet him from puerto plata.
spending 3-4 days together her mom phoned her and she told her this is the man for me however he killed her and paid 2 dominicans to dispose of her body {who are now in jail} and went to puerto plata?where he was arrested and put in jail.
The woman judge however let him out for lack of evidence[her blood was in his room]and he disappeared.
The interpol are involved and also in connection with 2 other murders in the states.

Has anybody else got information about this or heard anything?

Monsters surround us, I hope that all foreigners lock their doors tonight. All of us, Dominicans and foreigners are surrounded by evil every single day.

From WIKI:

Every year 66,000 women are violently killed globally. The rates of femicide differ depending on the specific country, but of the countries with the top 25 highest femicide rates, 50% are in Latin America, with number one being El Salvador. Also included in the top 25 are 7 European countries, 3 Asian countries and 1 African country, South Africa. Worldwide, the ratio of murdered men to women is 5:1, but in countries with lower homicide rates this ratio eventually narrows to 1:1. This is theorized to be due to fatal domestic violence which is overwhelmingly perpetrated by men against women. It has been found that as the rate of femicide increases, the ratio of intimate partner femicide decreases, pointing to the idea that as violence in a society increases, so does the femicide rate due to violence outside the home. This is often tied to high levels of tolerance of violence against women in countries. In a UN study, 1 in 4 women in the top 25 countries agreed that it was justifiable to be beaten or hit for arguing with their husband or refusing to have sex with him. Overall, data on femicide worldwide is poor, and often countries do not report gender differences in murder statistics.[32

you have the facts wrong. the man wanted for this death is not american. he is dominican spanish. he is not wanted in connection to any murders in america but he had problems with law before, drug dealing related.
he paid not 2 but 3 dominicans. the victims was raped, shot and body dumped in a sewage in santiago. he never came to puerto plata, he was questioned in santiago but there was no arrest order so the police did not arrest him. it had nothing to do with evidence.
he has left for spain, where he's lived for many years, on the 13th of april.

Also a military presented himself as the lawyer of the accused and paid to have him released. Still waters run deep. There's more to this than meets the eye.

in the DR, there is always more than meets the eye, and it is never good.

People get put in 3 month preventive custody all the time here for everything and the police let this guy go ?? Money the only law in the DR

dv8 that was a rather terse response to masstache and your response leads to more questions than the alleged corrections you gave. so this dominican Spaniard presented himself to the police accompanied by a miltary man ,said he had raped and murdered the female lawyer, 3 men helped him move the body and then he was released by the police when the military lawyer handed money over...even here that is hard to believe ,, like JDJones.. I believe there is much more to this. Firstly I would like to know whether money was paid to the police, the fiscal or the judge .

The money was split between them all and he walked out apparently this guy is loaded with $$$ from his time in America. Why is it hard to believe people kill people here a lot and if they have the money to pay get away with it. Mostly people who are well connected and rich or guys who are the higher up of the drug trade here.
Dv8 is right this will be a long story because every body got paid off Im sure even Immigration that allowed him to leave the country.

DR1 - Daily News Monday, 27 April 2015

Police have lead suspect in case of Paola Languasco death
Three men arrested in the case of the murder of Puerto Plata lawyer Paola Languasco Jimenez say they were paid to carry out the crime by Ambiorix Nepomuceno Rodriguez, a Dominican-Spanish citizen who left the country for Spain on 13 April 2015.

The men who were arrested were named as Lariel Pichardo Marte (Colita), Luciano Antonio Suriel Marmol (Gilberto) and Cristino Antonio Marlmol Nunez (Franklin). They led law enforcement officers to Languasco's body on Friday, 24 April near Jardines el Norte where Rodriguez, the chief suspect, lived. Languasco's family reported her missing on 6 April 2015. Her father, Leopoldo Languasco, said he has information that Rodriguez was living in Spain and had left the Dominican Republic to evade the Police and prosecutors.

The lawyer leaves three children, aged 12, 10 and 7.

The body was found on Prolongacion Padre Las Casas and taken to the National Forensic Institute (INACIF) for autopsy, as reported in Diario Libre.

The relatives have asked the Attorney General to extradite Rodriguez.

As reported in El Nacional, the Police said that Police Chief Major General Manuel Castro Castillo had discussed the case with the Interpol director in Spain.

Police spokesman Colonel Jacobo Mateo Moquete said that the Spanish authorities would arrest and deport Ambiorix Nepomuceno Rodriguez. He said that prosecutors in the Dominican Republic had followed the correct procedure when they released Rodriguez because there were no grounds for keeping him in detention at the time.

General Hector Garcia Cuevas, commander of the Santiago region, had identified Rodriguez as the mastermind. He was arrested and interrogated on 10 April, but the judge who heard the case ordered him to be left in the custody of an unnamed person and said he was required to return to court. Nonetheless, Rodriguez was able to leave the country and travel to Spain. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Thank you Dolores for putting this story right ,,what a terrible injustice to the family of the murdered lawyer and how sad for the three children. Really this is about the worst case of corruption I have heard of . The judge MUST give detention to anyone who is suspected of murder ..it is the law that no bail is permitted . mmm and I am sure the fiscalia was aware of this . Sounds like a massive payoff ...I hope the Attorney General will follow up on this

...Police spokesman Colonel Jacobo Mateo Moquete said (...) that prosecutors in the Dominican Republic had followed the correct procedure when they released Rodriguez because there were no grounds for keeping him in detention at the time.

The spokesman is a 'hablador'.
Prosecutors do not set a suspect free, that is done by a judge.
BTW, any 'ladron' is given 3 months 'coerci?n' and murder suspects are let go?

General Hector Garcia Cuevas, commander of the Santiago region, had identified Rodriguez as the mastermind. He was arrested and interrogated on 10 April, but the judge who heard the case ordered him to be left in the custody of an unnamed person and said he was required to return to court. The Dominican Republic is not a lawless country, but police, prosecutors and judges behave as if there were not any laws.
There is no hope for the foreseeable future....
