Where should we stay if doing tour with Iguana Mama?

I just hope there's some water to canyon in!

Las Ballenas d'Escondidas is a very sweet and cosy hotel in Las Naranjas village. On the way from Samana to Las Terrenas. The only issue is that the small hotel is situated on the slopes so you have a lot of stairs up and down. The french couple who run the place are very sweet and friendly. Petit H?tel unique ? I am presuming that you have already booked your waterfall canyoneering tour? If so look at the hotels you can book on the on line hotel portals in Cabarete. Plenty of choice to suit your budget.

I would re-iterate Vinyasa's post.......the rivers are almost dry everywhere so do check up with your tour operator.

Strange that you selected Las Galeras as your base and are ignoring all the possibilities that lie so close in the Samana peninsula.

You have perhaps one of the best waterfalls available nearby, superb beaches, an excellent zip line and plenty of adventure activities.
