I'd like to obtain a Private Pilots Licence.
Are there any Flight-Schools in Santiago or on the North Coast?
How much will I have to spend?

Aeroclub Quisqueya in Santiago offers both the private pilot and subsequently the commercial piloting degrees. Cost is RD$9,000 for the academic part, plus RD$1,300 per hour for the flying classes. You need 40 hours of flying time for the license. Classes are at the Santiago airport from 7 to 10 pm. Next course starts 22 January. For more information call 809 612 4557

Pilots License

A few buddies of mine are right in the middle of obtaining a pilots License.....here in Canada.....you can get one pretty simple,.....would the same license be honered in the DR?
