My husband and I will be staying for a week at the H-10 Sun Club Resort. We are leaving our children home with a sitter. We would like to be able to touch base several times via the internet. Does anyone know if the H-10 has internet access or do any of the resorts nearby allow guests from outside hotels to use their internet service(for a fee, of course)? Thank you.

At H10 have a computer connected to the Internet. Was told it costs US$1 for three minutes time. For much less you can connect at the Punta Cana airport at a Codetel telecommunications center. Also, check out in Plaza Bavaro for an internet cafe, which would cost much less.

Internet Cafe

I've been to many internet cafe's in the DR and the price is about 6 dollars for a half hour......so that price you sayis a bit inflated.....but reasonable!

Have to disagree on that pricing. I own a cafe in Boca Chica and charge RD$ 1 per min (less than US$2 per 1/2 hour), the other Cafe in Boca uses a similar pricing model. Most cafes in the capital (SD) charge the same or even less!

The big resorts like all their not included services are very expensive, I heard that the Hamaca charge US$ 10 per hour, 1 hour minimum!

For listing of cafes all over the world try these links, some of the information could be outdated (pricing, times, etc.)
