A friend of mine just explained a sure fire way to win at roulette; See if anyone can pick any holes in it!
First you play red or black consistanly....every time!
You put ....lets say 10 bucks on either(say red....even money)
You keep doubling every time.....that's if you lose.....so if you lose the first time you put 20 on red.......lose.....put 40 on red....lose put 80.....then lets say you win at 80.....you get 80 back.....it would of cost you 70 to do this....so you win 10 bucks.
You put your winnings (the 10 in your other pocket)away, and start again! Every time you win your 10 bucks.......if you were to start with 50 you would win the fifty(do the math!)Now some tables (almost all) have a max you can bet, so you have to watch you don't go over......you bring another person with you just in case.......if the limit is 500 and you need to bet 600.....you bet 500 and your buddie bets 100.......it takes a little while to win money, but it's a sure fire way to win. I think the worst you can do if your playing 10 bucks is,....at the worst win 3 times in an hour.....so you'll win 30 bucks an hour.....unless your playing 50 then you'll be winning 150.00 per hour(maybe more....maybe less....but always winning)if your playing 50 then you'll need maybe three buddies with you to cover the limit if you go over........sound right? or am I missing something? I know winning 30 bucks an hour is a slow pace, but the upstroke is you don't lose! Lets hear some holes in this method!!!

Have you ever been in a casino?

Do you really believe a simplistic plan such as this would work?

In Theory, if you had a deep enough supply of money, and table limits would allow it, you would eventually recover by going "double or nothing"

What you are doing :
bet 10, lose it =-10
bet 20 lose it = -30
bet 40 lose it =-80
bet 80, lose it = -120
now you need to bet 120 but you probably have a table limit of 100, and you aren't even considering you don't have 50/50 odds because of the 0/00

Yes, you could have your buddies make seperate bets to get to 120, but now you are betting 120 in the hope of regaining your roiginal 10 bucks, bad play.

trust me, if this worked everyone would be doing it and the casinos would not allow it :)

Best bet in the house if Blackjack if properly played

The system you are using is called "double regressive," and many people play it as a "money management tool" at blackjack

Doug, if you lose 5 in a row betting on black, what are the odds of the next spin being black? (I'll make it easy, leave out the green so we have just blk/red

What are the odds of black coming up three times in a row?

First you should not go to a Casino....your math is terrible. And the answer to your question.....if you flipped a coin and it came up heads 25 times in a row....what would be the odds of it coming up heads......of course 50/50

MY math

You are the one with the childs eye view of gambling, I make a living from it so I go to many casinos. I believe I corrected my mistake, unless your genius detected a flaw worthy of your childhood "theory?"

What was the answer to the other question I asked? Too difficult without resrearch, any gambler should immediately know that

I would love to play cards and take your money anyday son

My mathe was terrible

I was in a hurry to post areply before you did something as stupid as try and implement your plan

1st hand play -10
2nd play 20 =-30
3rd -play 40 =-70
4th -play 80 = -150

Anyone that thinks they can walk into a casino with your "method" and come out a winner should stick to 3 card monte

Trouble reading also?

"Doug, if you lose 5 in a row betting on black, what are the odds of the next spin being black? (I'll make it easy, leave out the green so we have just blk/red

What are the odds of black coming up three times in a row?"

These were my questions, i see answers to neither, do you have reading comprehension as well as statistics problems?

I don't play against uninitiated players such as yoursel, but the house. You really should have someone help you or take lessons before you become another of those that support the casinos, you are very naive to the ways of casino gambling

And don't think my money that I profit doesnt go into nice solid treasuys etc, its a means to an end

Doug, your first post said it all

A SURE FIRE WAY TO WIN AT ROULETTE

Antone that even bothers to consider this knows nothing of gambling, sorry but you let your lack of knowledge on this subject out of the bag when you asked the question, no reply was needed. i simply tried to explain things before you lost your lunch money at the nickel table, but if you want to try and be intelligent by showing more of your stupidity, be my guest and play at one of my friends casinos, they will love me for bringing you in :)

The Gambler

First of all I never professed to be a gambler, I would not be so stupid to try to make my living in a Casino. Second with this method the 00/0 is not relevent. I very much doubt it you would have a sliver of a chance at taking any of my money. I gamble on such things as Ballard,Magna,IBM......You are different, you go to a Blackjack dealer to make yours, thats fine....to each thier own,Good luck!
