Anyone know if there is a DR Passport Office in Higuey, Punta Cana, or La Romana.

There is one in San Pedro de Macoris for sure. Don't know about the other closer places. (We went to San Pedro from La Romana, so that seems to indicate there is not one in La Romana - we paid a fee at BanReservas there though.)

Yes I guess that is the closest one for me. I was there once many years ago. But I was hoping there was one in Higuey.

Would you happen to have the address or phone number?

I don't. I think they will be able to give that to you at any BanReservas though as long as it is a decent size office. (They wrote it down for me on a scrap of paper that is long gone.)

the one in san pedro seems to be the only one east of santo domingo.
sis in law got her first dr passport there last summer,
been easy, no hassles.
for just a renewal you should be in an out quickly

The government office in San Pedro is in the main street going through the town at a corner on the inland side with a parking area behind the building ..if that is any help

I have an excellent GPS to find anything in the DR. It is called pay a Moto Concho to lead you there. Works like a charm.
