Validity of Buena Conducta
how long is the buena conducta (no criminal records) valid?
That document you get from Palacio de justicia
Usually only 30 days
i know it only as valid for 30 days.
it is printed in big letters on the document
"valido para 30 dias ...".
i never asked for any specific/different one,
for residency, drivers license etc etc i never been asked what it is for.
i just pay the fee at Banco de Reservas for "papel de buena conducta",
bring the payment slip to theoffice at the Palacio in Higuey,
and shortly later get out there with the paper in hand, valid for 30 days.

a few days prior to your date to get the renewal, get the good conduct paper, so you are on the safe side of any timelines.

Yes in most places you can get it in the same day ..just come into the office with a crutch or bandages and you go into a quick line
For how long Buena Conducta is valid for the temporary cedula renewal? The paper doesn't say anything.
the site of DGM should state how old/new the good conduct paper can be to be valid.
it is not for along period of time.
Unfortunately in the list of the required documents it doesn't.
