Air Canada to Puerto Plata Cancelled

FYI - Air Canada has cancelled its flight schedule into POP until December of this year. This leaves us Canadians with West Jet as our only option unless we want to go via the USA.

cheap , I thought

AC has never been price competitive when I checked....

What is happening in Sosua, there is a 2 week vacation package there for about $1200. In comparison Iberostar is about $2100. the same time period.

Sign up for their newsletters if you haven't, we just got a 20%off discount code for being on their list and are travelling in October direct from Toronto for $460CAN with the code. Worth it! And they are involved in a few communities in DR, building schools etc. Great airline.

I booked flights for Oct 29 to April 1st and just confirmed with Air Canada that they have not been cancelled.

They have cancelled flights to POP until December. Look online, nothing is available. I also spoke with two agents yesterday morning before booking with West Jet.

Yes, I called Air Canada to confirm, and they said that my flight has not been cancelled. I fly on 10-29, Milwaukee to Toronto to Montreal to POP.
