I need someone who can help me prepare my 1040 ez form for 2015> These tax regulations are horrific and just need simple help, it would go a long way. I am willing to pay someone who has done this before. I live in Puerto Plata and have no connection with the United States after living here for 12 years. If anyone knows someone who has knowledge let me know.

I'm thinking you might want to contact a tax lawyer in the US. If you haven't had contact or filed in 12 years I don't think turbo tax will do it for you.

I am doubtful you would even be able to get a 2015 1040ez yet. Having said that, a 1040ez is the simplest tax form you will ever have to complete. But if I were you I would either look around on the isalnd, i have seen us income tax specialist in the capital, or i would call a liberty tax franchise state side or h and r block. Hope that helps.

simple in the past

I had only one small pension so I just put in my income and they filled out the rest. I was below the poverty level for the united States so there was no repercussions. Now I have social security and I have made a lot more money and I could use the help of a cpa or ex accountant or such who can help me fill in the spaces. I have always paid my taxes and I have left nothing out of the story. The majority of ex pats living her a good god fearing people and it is sad that some people have a negative comment about everyone's post.

he does not need to "come clean" to a bunch of strangers. he asked for help. if a poster cannot offer any or suggest where the OP can get a helping help they should not bother to comment. you have been warned.

You can try preparing your return at www.taxact.com I use them for my tax returns, and their software is programmed to calculate the taxable portion of Social Security payments. If you have a problem, PM me. I used to do taxes, and might be able to help. Unfortunately, due to my daughter's surgery and recuperation, I am not currently in the DR, but maybe I can help long distance.
