Is there any known laws or procedure if the landlord is passed due on a deposit return? (As timeline was agreed upon in the contract)

Also no information of any owed money was given during this time frame.

No one gets money back on that here. You need to work it off at the end.

This begs the question... How expensive of a lesson is this one going to be for ya?

Did you already move out?

If so then you're never going to see that money.

Conversely, if you haven't moved out and have given the usual 1 1/2 month security deposit, give your landlord 6 weeks notice and stop paying rent. For our tenants, we prefer this. It gives us time to find a new tenant. Also, leave the place clean.
