I ma planning a photo shoot and the client is looking for sawgrass or wheat crops or ...?//// in the Dominican Republic..any suggestions?

There is no wheat grown here, that is for starters.

I am not sure just what sawgrass is, but since it is available in Florida, it should be somewhere here. (Yes, I am too lazy to look up sawgrass on Google).

Might need to go to some other island or the mainland.

bear in mind that DR just passed a long period of drought so vegetation is not as lively. there are areas with tall grass, even where i live, but hardly suitable for a photo shoot, that is no large open fields.

I'm supposing here that sugar cane fields would not suffice? Maybe some more recently planted that don't look like a jungle?
